In 2023, the Boston Northeastern Divisional GAA board celebrates 100 years of existence.

To mark the occasion, the board are looking to bring up to date the historical records of the division, and create a booklet recognizing the past 100 years of competition.

In 2000, the GAA produced a booklet to celebrate the opening of Canton which included some content from that era as well as material gathered for the GAA’s centenary year in 1984.

The history project will include some oral interviews to capture memories from those involved down through the years.

See below where Bernie O’Reilly explains how he joined the Cork club, and also a video on the first live GAA telecast in Boston.
